At least a Pass in Chemistry is compulsory.

( i)    MASS COMMUNICATION
SSCE or WASCE O’level or NECO with at least five (5) credits at one sitting, which must include: English Language, and Mathematics  and any other three subjects from: History, Literature in English, Economics/Commerce, Fine Arts/Visual Arts/Printing Craft Practice/Photography/Basic Electronics/Electrical Installation and Maintenance Work/Electronics, Government/Civic Education/Social Studies, Biology/Agricultural Science/General Agriculture, Physics, Chemistry, Basic Electricity, Geography, Typewriting, Book Keeping/ Principles of Accounting, Nigerian Language (Yoruba, Hausa and Igbo) and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades..
Passes in Physics or Electronics/ Basic Electronics/Electrical Installation and Maintenance Work/Electronics will be an advantage.

3.      SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY
(i)     HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits  at two sittings, which must include: Biology/Agricultural Science/General Agriculture/Health Science, Mathematics, English Language and any two of  the following: Physics, Chemistry, Government/Civic Education/Social Studies, Economics/Commerce, Food and Nutrition/Catering Craft Practice/Home Management/ Home Economics, Geography, French Language, Book Keeping/ Principles of Accounts, Business Methods/Business Management.

 OR
NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Food & Nutrition/Basic Cookery and any other one  subject from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Basic Electronics and Home Management.

(ii)    COMPUTER SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY
(iii)    STATISTICS
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five (5) credits at one sitting,  which must include Mathematics, English Language,  a basic science, and any two other subjects chosen from the following: , Economics/Commerce, Geography, Chemistry, Further/Additional Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, History/Government/Civic Education/Social Studies, Typewriting, Biology/Agricultural Science/ General Agriculture, Data Processing/Computer Studies.   A Pass in Physics/ Basic Electronics/Electrical Installation and Maintenance Work/Electronics,  is compulsory for Computer Science and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades.

NABTEB: With at least five credits at one sitting, which must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics and Basic Electronics and two subjects from the following: Biology, Chemistry, and General Metal Work.

(iv)       FOOD TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with a minimum of five credits at two sittings, which must include English Language, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology/Agricultural Science/ General Agriculture/ Health Science and any one subject from: Physics/ Basic Electronics/Electrical Installation and Maintenance Work/Electronics, Economics/ Commerce, Additional/Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Home Economics/Home Management/ Food and Nutrition, Geography Plus at least pass in Physics/ Basic Electronics/Electrical Installation and Maintenance Work/Electronics and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades.

 (v)      LEISURE & TOURISM TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits  at two sittings, which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Geography,  a basic science and one subject from Economics/Commerce, History/Government/Civic Education, Book Keeping/Principles of Account, Fine Arts/Visual Arts, French Language, Government, Food & Nutrition/Home Economics/Home Management, Nigerian Language and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades.

  5.        SCHOOL OF PURE AND APPLIED TECHNOLOGY
SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: Mathematics, English Language and two subjects from Physics, Biology/Health Science/Agricultural Science/General Agriculture, Chemistry and one other subject from Technical Drawing, Metal/ Wood-Work, Geography, Further Mathematics, Fine Art/Visual Art, Computer Studies/Data Processing. At least a Pass in each of the three basic sciences i.e. Biology, Chemistry, Physics is required and relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades.

6.         SCHOOL OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES
(i )        ART & INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings
which must include: English Language, Mathematics, and any other three credit passes from the following: History/Government/Civic Education/Social Studies, Chemistry/Physics, Fine Art/Visual Art, Biology/Agricultural Science/General Agriculture, Literature in English, Religious Knowledge, Economics/Commerce, Geography, Clothing and Textiles/Printing and Craft/Painting and Decoration/Dyeing and Bleaching/Photography/Garment Making, Home Economics/Home Management and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades
(ii)       BUILDING TECHNOLOGY
(iii)       QUANTITY SURVEYING TECHNOLOGY

SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings which must include: English Language, Mathematics, Physics and any two of the following: Economics/Commerce, Further Mathematics Woodwork, Religious Knowledge, Metal Work, Technical Drawing/Fine Art/Visual Arts, Biology/Agricultural Science/General Agric, Chemistry, Geography, and Building Construction.
A Pass in Fine Art/Visual Arts/Technical Drawing will be an advantage.  OR

NABTEB: With at least five credit at two sittings, which must include: Mathematics, English Language, Physics and two subjects from the following:

  1. GENERAL EDUCATION COMPONENT( ONE Subjects form the following)

Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Agricultural Science, Economics/ Commerce, Fine Art,/ Technical Drawing, Geography.

  1. TRADE COMPONENT/TRADE RELATED COMPONENTS( ONE Subject from the following)

Block Laying & Concreting, Carpentry & Joinery, Furniture Craft Practice, Painting & Decoration, General Wood Work, Machine Wood Creating.

(iv)    ESTATE MANAGEMENT AND VALUATION
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credit at two sittings,  which must include Mathematics, English Language and at least a basic science subject from Physics, Chemistry, and Biology,  and any two subjects from  the following: Geography, Economics/ Commerce, Principle of Accounts / Book Keeping, Literature in English, Metal Work, Wood Work, Government/Civic Education, Fine Art/Visual Arts, Building Construction, Technical Drawing, and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades.
OR
NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include English, Mathematics and one basic science from Physics, Biology and Chemistry, and two subjects from the following: General Woodwork, General Metal Work, Economics, Building Engineering Drawing, and Principles of Accounts and Agricultural Science.

(iv)    ARCHITECTURAL TECHNOLOGY
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings which must include: English Language, Mathematics  Physics and any two from the following: Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural Science/General Agriculture, Technical Drawing, Fine Art /Visual Arts, Geography, History, Woodwork, Metal Work,  Further Mathematics, Economics/ Commerce, Business Methods, and Religious Knowledge. At least a pass in Fine Art/Visual Arts/Technical Drawing will be an advantage and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades. OR

NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: Mathematics, English Language, Physics/Chemistry and General Woodwork, and any one from  Economics and Biology.

(vi)     URBAN & REGIONAL PLANNING
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’level or NECO with at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics, English Language, Geography and two other subjects from the following: Economics/ Commerce, Fine Art/Technical Drawing/Building Construction/Visual Arts, Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science/General Agriculture, Further Mathematics, History/Government/Civic Education/Social Studies/ Business Methods/Business Management, Principles of Account/Book Keeping.
One of the two subjects must be a basic science subject and Relevant NTC/NBC & NVC Trades.

 OR

NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include Mathematics, English Language and at least a basic science subject from Physics, Biology and Chemistry, and two subjects from the following: General Woodwork, General Metal Work, Economics, Building Engineering Drawing, and Principles of Accounts/ Book Keeping.

(vii)  AGRICULTURAL AND BIO- ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING
TECHNOLOGY (For Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering):
SSCE or WASCE or GCE O’ level or NECO with at least five  credit at two sittings, which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics and Biology/Agricultural Science/General Agriculture and one subject from: Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics/ Electronics/Electrical Installation and Maintenance Works/ Basic Electricity/Applied Electricity /Auto Electrical Works/Auto Mechanics Work/Auto Mechanics/Metal Work, Building Construction, Woodwork, Computer Studies/Data Processing, Further Mathematics, Economics/ Commerce, Geography, Food & Nutrition and at least a pass in Chemistry is necessary.

(i)        CHEMICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
NABTEB: With at least five credits at two sittings, which must include: Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and one subject from the following:

(vi)    MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
(vii)   MECHATRONICS ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
